Would you choose love if you knew how it would end?
Joel is afraid of the future. Since he was a child he’s been haunted by dreams about the people he loves. Visions of what’s going to happen – the good and the bad. The only way to prevent them is to not love someone. Callie can’t let go of the past. Since her best friend died, she’s been lost. She know she needs to be more spontaneous and live a bigger life. She’s just struggling to go back to being that person. Joel and Callie both need a reason to start living for today. From the moment they meet it feels like the start of something life-changing. Until Joel has a vision of how it’s going to end…

I absolutely loved this story which is the debut novel for the author, and what a fabulous debut it is. It is a contemporary romance love story, with a slight fantasy twist in relation to Joel’s prophetic dreams about those he loves. Over the course of the story it was easy to become emotionally attached to Joel and Callie, they were both such likeable personalities. I can tell you that when I finished this book, I had tears pouring down my face which to me is a perfect example of excellent writing that it affected me so much. I found this book to be a unique and beautiful story, and it was extremely moving. I’ve literally been telling so many people about this book because I can’t stop thinking about it.
Overall: an extremely well-written “not your average” love story that I’d highly recommend.
